All change at Knaus as business booms

German motorhome manufacturer Knaus Tabbert has made a number of changes in its management, starting with the appointment of Jürgen Thaler as Product Manager. With Jürgen, Knaus Tabbert was able to find an expert from within the company for the position.

"We are really pleased about this, because Jürgen Thaler approaches this new position with passion and extensive know-how,” said Gerd Adamietzki, Sales Manager of Knaus Tabbert. The company deliberately took its time making this decision in order to be able to appoint the right person.

Jürgen Thaler, age 35, has been working for the company since 2012. Before that time he had worked as a Project Manager for a gastronomy equipment company, and also had gathered experience with a supplier of the caravan industry.

The other changes include Armin Mäder, who has been working for the company as an engineer for years, now fills the position of Product Manager for the premium brand. He is well known for his meticulousness and passion for Tabbert products.

Klaus-Peter Bolz assumes the position of Brand Manager. From May 1975 to February 1985 Klaus-Peter worked as Sales and Marketing Manager for Bürstner, a Knaus competitor, before joining Knaus in the same position. In 1995 he returned to Kehl and there held the position of Sales Manager. In 2014 he announced he was going to retire but then returned to the industry, again with Knaus Tabbert.

"We decided to take this step because the industry follows its own rules," said Gerd Adamietzki, Sales Manager of Knaus Tabbert. "With Armin Mäder as Product Manager and Klaus-Peter Bolz as Brand Manager we will bring the Tabbert brand back again to where it once was – to the very top,” said Adamietzki.
