THREE new layouts are being added to Swift and Sterling ranges of caravan. The Swift Group said the new layouts provide an improved rear island bed layout, triple bunk layout and a single axle fixed bed with transverse rear washroom.
The new Challenger 580/Eccles Quartz replaces the Challenger 560/Eccles Opal and boasts an improved rear island bed layout.
It gets longer front seats that can be made into a double bed whilst still accommodating a chest of drawers with occasional table.
The new Challenger 570/Eccles Ruby is a single axle fixed rear bed layout with a transverse rear washroom with separate shower cubicle.
The front end is the same as the Challenger 580/Eccles Quartz so, Swift Group say, is ideal for those that like the Challenger 620/Eccles Coral layout, but don’t want a twin axle caravan.
Completing the new line up is the Charisma 565/Europa 565, which gets a separate rear bedroom containing triple bunk beds and a dinette which converts to a fourth bed.
Aimed at families, the front lounge will convert to two singles or a large double bed and there is a centrally located washroom and kitchen.
All three new layouts will be on display at the National Boat Caravan and Outdoor Show 17-22 February at the NEC Birmingham.
Swift Group Commercial Director Nick Page said: “The NEC in October saw large numbers of families with young children looking at caravans for the first time.
“With package holidays, air fares and the Euro impact increasing holidays abroad dramatically, holidays in the UK will be more popular in 2009 and caravan holidays will be very much back in vogue."
