Surfing is a popular pastime among British people seeking the thrill of sea in the UK and Europe. And the Caravan and Motorhome Club wants to encourage more surfers to enjoy their campsites and facilities.

The club boasts 2,700 campsites around the UK and Europe, many of which are close to great surfing beaches.

The Club’s head of communications explained why the surfing community will enjoy their sites:

“Our site facilities will ensure surfers get a hot shower and somewhere to dry their wetsuits, so they are ready to hit the waves the next day.”

The Club stated it is deepening its relationship with Surfing England, the organisation which promotes ‘a healthy surfing community’ in England. The Caravan and Motorhome Club is a headline sponsor of Surfing England’s main competition in May this year.

The Tokyo 2020 Olympics includes surfing as a demonstration sport. Surfers who want to develop their sport or just have fun and access to affordable, high quality living facilities should consider caravanning and joining the Club.

Find out more about the 2019 Caravan and Motorhome Club English National Surfing Championship. It takes place between 4th and 6th May in Perranporth, Cornwall.
