South Coast Holiday Park Begins Staff Recruitment Drive

Shorefield Holidays, the holiday parks firm with six sites across Hampshire and Dorset, is recruiting more staff to keep up with growing demand to holiday in the UK.

The so-called 'staycation' where British holidaymakers stay in the UK for their holidays rather than travel abroad is becoming more popular. The cost of holidaying abroad has gone up since the British pound devalued after the vote in 2016 to leave the European Union.

More people want to stay in or invest in holiday caravans, go camping or caravanning. The owners of Shorefield believe this trend will continue.

With the growth in demand, Shorefield needs more staff to cope. The holiday business needs chefs, bar staff, arcade assistants cleaners, waiters, cooks, waters and waitresses, lifeguards, estate managers and more.

The company has a reputation for providing good staff training and holds the 'Investor in People' accreditation and contributes £27 million a year to the local economy.
