The Dyers’ Caravan Park renewed for series two after major Sky launch

Sky has confirmed that The Dyers’ Caravan Park will return for a second series, following a strong debut that has already made it the broadcaster’s biggest unscripted entertainment launch in five years.

The series, which follows Danny Dyer and Dani Dyer as they take on the challenge of running Priory Hill and Nutts Farm Holiday Park in Kent, premiering two weeks ago, quickly attracted strong viewer interest.

The show’s early success has now prompted Sky to recommission it for another run, meaning cameras will return to the park for a second season.

A strong start for the caravan park series

The first series of The Dyers’ Caravan Park has already made a significant impact, becoming Sky’s biggest entertainment launch since Never Mind the Buzzcocks returned in 2021.

The programme documents the father-and-daughter duo as they attempt to breathe new life into the Kent holiday park while navigating the everyday realities of park life.

With the caravan site reopening for a new season, Danny and Dani are expected to return with even bigger ideas as they continue their hands-on involvement in the business.

Danny Dyer said,

“We can’t believe the love you’ve all shown to our caravan site. So, we’re coming back. Roll on the summer of all summers.

Dani Dyer added,

“Coming back for Series 2 of The Dyers' Caravan Park feels so special. Thank you for all the love and support – it honestly means everything. We’re so ready for another season of fun, chaos and a bit of Dyer madness.”

Sky confirms second series

Sky’s commissioning team said the reaction to the show played a major role in its rapid renewal.

Shirley Jones, Commissioning Editor at Sky, said,

“The Dyers’ Caravan Park delivered Sky’s biggest entertainment launch in five years, and that’s down to Danny and Dani’s unmistakable passion and the brilliant community at Priory Hill & Nutts Farm that surrounds them. We’re incredibly proud of the outstanding team both on and off screen who bring such humour, heart and craft to the series. We are all very excited to bring audiences along for another brilliant stay, full of challenges, and no doubt a bit of chaos, at the park next year.”

The show is produced by Expectation, with Executive Producers Ben Wicks and Jordan Read leading the project.

Ben Wicks, Creative Director at Expectation, said the response to the series had been hugely encouraging.

“We’re incredibly proud to be working with Danny and Dani – for our money, the most entertaining duo on TV – on a series the critics have called very funny and full of heart,” he said. “On the show the Dyers are surrounded by a brilliant cast of staff and residents who are genuinely funny, and despite their caravans being static, incredibly moving.”

When the next series will air

Series two of The Dyers’ Caravan Park will air on Sky One and NOW next year, bringing viewers back to Priory Hill and Nutts Farm as the Dyers continue their attempt to build a successful holiday park business.

With the first series already attracting significant attention, the return suggests the programme could become one of Sky’s standout entertainment formats in the touring and outdoor leisure space.
