NCC updates consumer guides for Caravan and Motorhome owners

The National Caravan Council (NCC) has updated two of its key consumer guides to help caravan, motorhome, and campervan owners make the most of their adventures.

The Caravan and Towing Guide and the Motorhome and Campervan Guide have been refreshed with new content and were distributed to visitors at the Caravan, Camping and Motorhome Show at the NEC Birmingham.

Designed for both first-time buyers and experienced owners, the guides cover essential topics such as buying advice, maintenance, storage, and security, along with important technical information to ensure road safety and legal compliance. They also include top tips, practical guidance, and definitions to help consumers navigate the variety of leisure vehicle options available.

Simon McGrath, NCC’s Director of Communications, described the updated guides as an “authoritative resource for anyone thinking about buying a caravan, campervan or motorhome while also providing comprehensive technical information that will ensure people look after and fully enjoy their purchase.”

The guides have evolved over the years to reflect new trends, regulations, and industry developments, with expert input from across the sector.
