Motorhome and caravan dealer, Lowdhams Leisureworld, prepares to open with new 'Novas' system
Motorhome and caravan dealer, Lowdhams Leisureworld, which has branches in Nottinghamshire and Huddersfield, is preparing a phased reopening on June 1 and has introduced its ‘Novas’ scheme that means customers who want to purchase a new motorhome or caravan, as well as accessories or visit its service department, can do so with no, or minimal, contact.
Novas – No-contact Online Virtual Appointment System – means customers can book an online motorhome or caravan virtual viewing, as well as order some accessories and awnings via a call-and-collect service and proceed all the way through to completing the purchase.
The new system means customers can reduce the time they spend at the dealer to the minimum and, in some cases, have no physical contact with Lowdhams at all.
Lowdhams Group MD, Steve Sharpe, explained, “I hope our customers agree that these measures are the right thing to do. They have been designed to protect our safety and our customer’s safety. I am very aware that these changes to our showrooms and shops will have a big impact on the way we operate. None of the measures have been taken without careful thought and consideration and I want to reassure you that we will support all our customers and staff through this change.”
