What does the Mink Campers and HeroCamper merger mean?
Iceland-based Mink Campers has become a familiar sight at major shows across Europe, thanks to its distinctive teardrop-style micro caravans. HeroCamper, headquartered in Denmark, produces compact towable models designed for all-weather touring and has built a strong following among buyers.
Under the new structure, the HeroCamper CEO will continue in his role to provide strategic direction for the group, whilst the CEO of Mink Campers will stay within the leadership team and oversee the integration of the two brands.
Announcing the merger at HeroCamper’s annual dealer day, Troels Nakel, CEO of HeroCamper, said,
“This is an important milestone for both brands.
“By joining forces, we’re creating a stronger platform for international expansion, product development and sustainable long-term growth.
Together we can respond faster to market trends and deliver even more value to outdoor-minded customers.”
While the companies say the merger will create a more competitive Nordic presence in the compact caravan sector, details on future product alignment or manufacturing changes have yet to be confirmed.
For existing owners, both brands have stated that support and servicing will continue as normal.
