Minister Opens New Swift factory

Swift is one of the largest employers in the East Yorkshire area and competes in a market which is seeing a growth in imported products from mainland Europe, namely Italy, France, Germany and the emerging eastern block countries.
The new factory is part of Swift's strategy to increase its competitiveness in the European market and to enable the Company to manufacture its products more efficiently whilst keeping prices at market competitive levels.
