New camping and bed and breakfast facilities are being unveiled at Blackthorn Farm on Anglesey ready for the 2012 summer season.A luxury family room will open on 1 June in the bed and breakfast, and a new shower block for campers opened on the May Bank Holiday weekend.
The new additions are part of an on-going investment to Blackthorn Farm, which can accommodate 36 caravans and pitches for campers. The site has fantastic coastal and mountain views, being situated close to South Stack, the well-known conservation area and just a short distance from the holiday village of Trearddur Bay on the island.
Campers can now enjoy their own dedicated shower block on-site which has four showers for ladies and gents, toilets, hairdryers and state-of-the-art hand dryers. The block also has its own dishwashing area and deep-freeze for guests to use, as well as a family room and wet room, complete with bath. The block is fully accessible for disabled guests too.
Richard Turke, owner of Blackthorn Farm, said: 'We're very proud of the new shower block, which will include all the modern comforts and be ideal for families, as well as being solely dedicated to our campers this year. We have made a number of new changes and additions to the site this year and business is going from strength to strength.'
