Demand surges at Salop Leisure’s secure caravan storage facility
A rise in demand for secure caravan storage has been reported by Salop Leisure, following the closure of other local facilities.

Located at the company’s headquarters in Shrewsbury, Salop Leisure’s storage site holds up to 500 touring caravans and from Salop's data it has reported an influx of new customers over the recent months.
The facility holds platinum accreditation from CaSSOA – the highest rating available – in recognition of its enhanced security.
Features include CCTV, alarmed perimeter fencing, an electronic entry system and a secure holding bay.
In addition to secure pitches, the facility provides a range of services for caravanners, including daylight access, waste disposal, tyre pressure checks, on-site servicing and power washing with a raised platform.
A popular option among regular visitors is the ‘store and tow’ service, which allows customers to have their caravans delivered directly to the nearby resort for overnight stays.
Sian Rees, storage facility sales administrator at Salop Leisure, said,
Many of our customers have stored their touring caravans and motorhomes with us since we opened the storage facility.
We have seen a recent surge in customers following the closure of other local storage facilities.
Customers like our storage facility because of the independence, convenience and peace of mind it offers them. They can come and go as they wish knowing that their caravan or motorhome is safe and secure when not in use.
