Cornwall’s coast path refreshed – ideal for caravan trips

Cornwall coast path improvements now complete
Visitors to Cornwall have a new reason to put on their walking shoes this summer.
Natural England has completed upgrades to a significant stretch of the South West Coast Path, improving 228 miles of coastline from St Agnes on the north coast to Cremyll near the border with Devon.
The longest coastline trail in the world?
The enhancements bring the path closer to the sea in many areas, creating even more scenic walking routes.
With new provisions to ensure the trail can adapt to coastal erosion, walkers now have more reliable access to some of England’s most dramatic coastal scenery. This work is part of the King Charles III England Coast Path initiative, aiming to create a continuous, managed trail around England’s coastline – the longest of its kind in the world.
Now with the path improvements finished, it’s an ideal time for caravanners to plan their holiday along the Cornish coast.
For those seeking well-placed, high-quality caravan parks close to the South West Coast Path, several Premier Parks make excellent bases for exploring both the coastal path and the wider countryside.
