Coachman's revolutionary 2026 range: UK's first 8ft-wide two-berth!
Coachman has pulled the wraps off its 2026 range, unveiling a series of significant updates across its line-up, including the UK’s first 8ft-wide two-berth caravan.
The headline addition is the Laser 480 Xtra, a maximum-width two-berth layout designed for those who want spacious touring in a more compact format. Also new is a single-axle VIP 545, offering a rear bedroom and central washroom, a layout mirrored in the Acadia range.
The Hull-based manufacturer has also updated its flagship Lusso models, with the Lusso II, which is now its top-selling caravan. For 2026, the Lusso range gains uprated chassis for the twin-axle versions, increasing payload to 325kg, along with fresh interiors featuring acoustic wall panelling, black fittings, redesigned lighting and marble-effect splashbacks.
Range-by-range highlights
Lusso
The Lusso is where the biggest changes for Coachman 2026 models take place.
From reverse-curve locker designs and upgraded lighting to 5G-ready WiFi and increased storage depth in kitchens. And the kitchen is where this new design comes to life, with larger worktops and deeper cabinets, space and storage are optimised for 2026.
For those that like their luxury caravans to come with space and size, the MTPLM of these models goes up from 1,990kg to 2,200kg.
Laser
The 2026 Laser range gets new 3D graphics, two-tone top lockers, an upgraded splashback, and wider kitchen cabinet doors, plus a mains socket and TV connections are now included in the exterior locker.
But what's more significant for 2026 is that the Laser range will feature seven distinct models.
The single-axle models: Laser 480 Xtra, Laser 545 Xtra, Laser 575 Xtra.
The twin-axle models: Laser 845 Xtra, Laser 855 Xtra, Laser 865 Xtra, Laser 875 Xtra.
VIP
Across the various VIP models, interiors are receiving significant upgrades designed to elevate comfort and aesthetics.
You will also be able to enjoy increased comfort with new, deeper mattresses, while armrests have been meticulously redesigned for improved aesthetics and support. Overhead lockers have also been reshaped, offering both better utility and a more refined appearance.
All VIP models benefit from the comprehensive interior enhancements mentioned above, alongside a host of additional upgrades.
Acadia
For the Acadia range, practical upgrades include external access to the battery box, mains and satellite/aerial points for awning TV use and (as with other Coachman ranges for 2026) deeper fixed bed mattresses.
But one thing Coachman has really embraced for 2026 is the black washroom fittings offering a more refreshing look, whilst also being accompanied by magnetic-lock door handles, plus new herringbone flooring – also making its debut.
In total, there are four models in the Acadia range. The 460, 545, 575 and twin-axle 660 Xtra.
