Paralympic champion Hannah receives £2,000 boost for racing career
Hannah Cockroft, a nine-time Paralympic gold medallist, brought two medals from the Paris 2024 and Tokyo 2020 Games, where she competed in the T34 100m, 400m and 800m events. Staff were given the opportunity to see the medals and congratulate her on her continued success.
During the visit, Hannah also acted as guest judge for Caravan Guard’s internal bake-off, held as part of a Macmillan fundraising day.
The company’s sponsorship has helped support the ongoing costs of elite wheelchair racing, including specialist equipment, training, physiotherapy and travel. As part of the visit, Caravan Guard presented Hannah with a £2,000 sponsorship cheque.
Caravan Guard said it remains committed to supporting Hannah as she continues to compete at the highest level.
