2026 Caravan, Camping & Motorhome Show records 12% visitor increase at NEC Birmingham
The 2026 Caravan, Camping & Motorhome Show has closed on a high, with visitor numbers up 12% on last year and exhibitors reporting strong sales across the board.
Held at the NEC Birmingham from 17 to 22 February, the show attracted 100,072 visitors over six days, underlining continued demand for caravans in the UK. Organised by NCC Events, the annual February showcase filled five halls of the NEC and featured more than 420 exhibitors displaying the latest leisure vehicles, tents, holiday homes and outdoor accessories.
Strong sales and positive mood across the show
Exhibitors described the mood as upbeat throughout the week, with many reporting higher sales than in 2025. Several brands went as far as calling it their strongest February show to date.
Coachman confirmed sales were up 20% compared with last year, while Bailey of Bristol highlighted strong interest in its new model launches. Adria, who launched several new models, reported healthy business secured by its dealerships and Hillside Leisure described the week as its most productive February show yet for vehicle sales.
First-time buyers join seasoned tourers
Alongside experienced caravanners, organisers noted a welcome influx of first-time buyers. With a wide range of new launches and innovations on display, the event offered visitors the chance to compare hundreds of leisure vehicles under one roof.
Industry leaders said the show reflected the strength and resilience of the UK touring sector. The Caravan and Motorhome Club described the atmosphere as energising, with clear evidence of growing interest in leisure vehicle holidays across different age groups.
Dates confirmed for 2027
With momentum building into the new touring season, organisers have already confirmed the return of the Caravan, Camping & Motorhome Show from 16 to 21 February, 2027 at the NEC Birmingham.
Before then, the Motorhome & Caravan Show will take place at the NEC from 13 to 18 October, 2026, giving the industry another major platform later this year.
For the UK caravan market, the message from February’s show was clear: interest remains strong, confidence is improving and the 2026 season is off to a promising start.
