An adults-only touring campsite set in the picturesque setting of the Mendip Hills

About the campsite

Set just over a mile from the medieval city of Wells, this touring park has 60 hardstanding pitches with electric, and the option to upgrade to full-service pitches. On-site facilities include toilets and showers, a disabled wet room, a launderette and dog shower.

There is also a herb garden, croquet and petanque, and a licensed coffee lounge serving drinks, snacks and cake and offering takeaway. Wells Touring Park is surrounded by the Mendip Hills, which offer plenty of walking routes, and there are many tracks and minor roads for cyclists to explore.

Wells itself has a spectacular cathedral and Bishop's Palace, along with a selection of shops and places to eat. Also just over a mile away are the magical Wookey Hole caves, and the historic and mythical town of Glastonbury is just a 15-minute drive. Buses run from Wells city centre and there is a bus stop just across the road from the site entrance.
