Polmanter Touring Park wins gold at VisitEngland Awards for Excellence

A Cornish Premier Park – Polmanter Touring Park in St Ives – has been named the best in England after it won the Gold Award in the Camping, Glamping and Holiday Park of the Year category at the 2025 VisitEngland Awards for Excellence.

The family-run park received the prestigious award in recognition of its commitment to quality, guest experience and on-going investment in its facilities.

“To receive national recognition for something we’ve poured our hearts into over generations is incredibly special. It’s a proud moment for our whole team, and for Cornish tourism.

Polmanter secured its place in the national finals after winning Gold at the Cornwall Tourism Awards in 2024. It was one of just three finalists in its category, selected from over 1,800 entries across 21 regional competitions.

Established over 50 years ago, the Premier Park is known for its five-star facilities and welcoming atmosphere.

Set just outside St Ives, the park offers spacious camping and touring pitches alongside luxury self-catering accommodation. Guests enjoy access to a heated outdoor pool, tennis courts, indoor and outdoor play areas, dog-friendly facilities, and the on-site Stable Bar and Restaurant.

The Premier Park continues to invest in its guest experience, with upgrades for the 2025 season including enhanced shower blocks, free site-wide WiFi, and contactless laundry services.
