A five-star campsite in the Peak District has been recognised for its outstanding dog-friendly offering, following a recent nationwide public vote celebrating the UK’s most welcoming places for pets.
A top dog-friendly retreat in the Peak District
Longnor Wood Holiday Park, near Buxton, was named among the country’s top dog-friendly campsites.
Set in a peaceful, secluded location in the heart of the Peak District, the adults-only campsite combines high-end facilities with useful features for dog owners. Up to two dogs are welcome free of charge on tent and touring pitches, while campsite facilities include a dedicated dog exercise field, an enclosed dog walk and a hot water dog wash for muddy paws after countryside adventures.
