Park Holidays Adds Yorkshire Wildlife-Rich Park To Its Group
News
Park Holidays UK has acquired Kingfisher Holiday Park, located near the historic market town of Knaresborough in North Yorkshire.
With its two lakes and wildlife-rich nature reserve, the long-established park brings the group’s total number of UK sites to 55.
Kingfisher will offer holiday home ownership for those seeking a peaceful countryside escape just a few miles from Harrogate. The park will also welcome motorhome, touring caravan, and camping guests, with amenities including 10A electric hook-ups, laundry services and a fully equipped toilet and shower block.
Visitors can explore the park’s tranquil woodland via a network of trails, offering scenic views and access to its natural features. Its two spring-fed lakes attract a variety of birdlife, including kingfishers, and support aquatic species such as dragonflies and waterfowl.
Luxury holiday homes will be available in a premium lakeside development. Touring stays run from March to November, with seasonal pitches and storage options also offered.
The park has attracted a host of glowing reviews over the years, many mentioning its peacefulness, immaculate grounds and beautiful dog-friendly walking areas.
