Five-star campsite near Edinburgh named best in Scotland

At this year's Scottish Hospitality Awards, a five-star campsite in Musselburgh, near Edinburgh, was crowned the best in Scotland.

The black-tie awards event took place in Glasgow in June, and saw Drummohr Camping and Glamping Site awarded Camping Site of the Year.

This latest accolade adds to a growing list of achievements for owners WCF. Following a £1m refurbishment, the campsite and holiday park was awarded five stars by VisitScotland in 2023. This was followed by being voted Campsite of the Year 2024 by readers of Camping Magazine, and Drummohr is also a member of the high-quality campsites group, Premier Parks.

Accommodation includes lodges, camping pods, and a selection of touring and camping pitches. Toilets, showers, accessible bathrooms, a campers' kitchen and launderette are all provided.
