Camping La Pointe (Cap Breton)

Set about 25 miles north of Biarritz on the Atlantic coast, Camping La Pointe is set about 800m back from the sea in eight hectares of grounds. Spain is just a 30-minute drive away and it's an easy motorway drive to the campsite from the ferries from either Santander or Bilbao. The cuisine of Landes is much renowned (or you could go above the border for paella!) and the site has a restaurant and bar, as well as a supermarket and bakery.
