Camping at Broadhembury comes with all the extras to make your holiday special. In the well-stocked tourist information centre visitors can see just what a wealth of interesting places there are on the doorstep. You will easily find somewhere special for you and your family to visit that will not involve driving miles. From the park you can walk the famous ancient Greensand Way footpath, cycle designated routes to nearby villages, or try geocaching unlocking exclusive GPS co-ordinates to find treasure.
Only a few hundred metres away there is fishing in a carp lake, stocked with roach, rudd and carp. Within five miles there is trout fishing, and 15 miles away sea fishing is available from the beach and boat trips from Folkestone.
Just two miles away is Imagine - an indoor soft play centre (for babies and older children) and Laser Battlezone, a golf complex, a nine-hole pay and play and covered floodlit driving range, along with many country pubs with gardens. Between three and five miles away there is Ashford's Stour Centre Pool Complex with flume and rapids, 10-pin bowling, a Designer Outlet, leisure park with multi-screen cinema; and the must visit attraction – beautiful Godington House and Gardens. There is also a train station with services to London in only 35 minutes.
A little further afield (15-20 miles) are sandy beaches, Port Lympne Wild Animal Park, the Light Railway, where you can ride to Bodium Castle in East Sussex; Leeds Castle with gardens, playground maze and grotto, Dover Castle & Hellfire Corner, Sissinghurst and Hever Castles, with beautiful gardens, and the ancient city of Canterbury with famous cathedral, historic river trips and shopping.
