A peaceful grassland campsite amongst scattered oaks, Denny Wood Camping in the Forest Site offers the simple pleasures of natural surroundings in the New Forest. With ponies which roam freely in the area, here you can enjoy a relaxing back-to-nature holiday in the beautiful Hampshire Forest. Scattered oak trees surround the peaceful grassy campsite at Denny Wood. Ponies roam freely on the campsite and there is direct access to the Forest. Campers can cycle to nearby Brockenhurst village without having to use any roads. There are many ground-nesting birds on the site, so dogs are not allowed.

Perfect for those who want a taste of wild camping, there’s a fabulous feeling of remoteness at Denny Wood. Pitches are separated by the natural features of the land, such as ferns, oaks and fallen trees so it feels like you have your own isolated piece of nature. But you’re never alone for long here as you’ll have the company of the free roaming ponies and wildlife including deer, birds and butterflies.

Spend your days exploring the nearby trails on foot or by bike and you’ll be taken into a world of heathland, open grassland, rivers and woodland.

Please note: Dogs are not allowed on this site.
