Woodyhyde Campsite

Woodyhyde campsite is situated on the Isle of Purbeck, a stone's throw away from Dorset's famed Jurassic Coast. Our family-run campsite has 160 unmarked pitches on 3 fields across 13 acres where wild deer, pheasants and birds roam.

Motorhomes and tents are welcome but we are unable to take caravans. 100 electrical hook-up points are available and 20 hard standings for motorhomes and campervans.

Facilities on site include a modern shower block with disabled facilities, a toilet block and washing up facilities. A chemical disposal point is also available.  A large well stocked shop and Off Licence providing a wide selection of fresh foods, camping essentials and camping equipment. 

The campsite is 20 minutes walk to the stunning ruins of Corfe Castle and a short distance from the seaside town of Swanage. The location of our campsite makes it suitable for all types of holidays or weekends away. Bookings are now taken online and we offer our visitors the freedom to pitch wherever they prefer. Dogs are welcome on our campsite with the exception of field 3.

The Swanage steam railway runs adjacent to the campsite from Corfe Castle to Swanage, providing a great family day out. Discounted railway tickets are available from reception or tickets can be purchased at the station. Harman's cross station is a 20-minute walk following a footpath from the campsite

The Isle of Purbeck is designated as a World Heritage Site for its Jurassic Coast and also rated as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. It is renowned for its diverse wildlife which includes rare birds and sea life. Studland is best known for its National Nature Reserve and its large, sandy beaches. This area is ideal for swimming and a range of watersports.

Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the campsite. Code available from reception on arrival.

Woodyhyde is open 1st March until 31st October.
