Andrewshayes has touring pitches for motorhomes, caravans and tents with 10 amp electric hook-up and fully serviced hardstanding pitches. Set in beautiful countryside, well signed from the road, this gently sloping campsite overlooks the valleys and rolling hills of Devon and the village of Dalwood. The campsite is a short drive inland from the popular seaside resorts of Charmouth, Lyme Regis and Seaton on the Jurassic Coast. The park is very well kept with hanging baskets, flower-beds, terraced pitches and trees separating pitches, making this a really pleasant base for a holiday.

The facilities on site include two very clean toilet blocks with baby changing and wheelchair accessibility, plus covered dishwashing and laundry sinks. The newer ultra-modern toilet block is immaculate, with two fully accessible shower/family rooms and privacy cubicles, laundry room with microwave and freezer for visitors’ use.

For a relaxing drink try the licensed bar. Children are allowed here until 9pm, and takeaway meals are available in peak season for when you don't feel like cooking yourself.

The heated swimming pool has been covered with an impressive glass retractable structure, and plenty of sun chairs are provided on the lovely patio. To keep children amused there's also play area, toddler soft play, games room and outdoor table tennis. For ball games and dog walking there are recreation fields.

There is plenty of choice for local days out, including country houses and gardens, Crealy Adventure Park, and Pecorama with its miniature railways and new indoor soft play area.

Just half a mile away is Burrow Farm Gardens, East Devon’s ‘secret’ garden, a beautifully landscaped area extending over 10 acres with superb views of the surrounding countryside. This provides a wonderful backdrop to the spacious lawns, lush borders and unusual shrubs and trees. The Woodland Garden has been created in an ancient Roman clay pit, with an array of wild flowers around the beautiful ornamental ponds, while in the Rill Garden the pergola walk and garden with colour co-ordinated shrubs and herbaceous plants are at their best during the summer months, and the Courtyard Garden features late summer flowering perennials.

Honiton Pottery is a great fun day for the children, where they can throw their own pots on the potters wheel, or paint a pre-fired item of bisqueware ready for glazing and firing. Even adults are allowed to have a go.

And of course there is a great choice of seaside resorts nearby, offering fossil hunting or sandy beaches for a great family day out.
