Durham Grange Caravan and Motorhome Club Site

The Caravan Club's flagship campsite, recently had a relaunch and is built on the site of an old colliery using as much original local material as possible (the roof tiles on the toilet block were on one of the original buildings). The campsite has 76 pitches with 59 hardstandings and a 135-pitch caravan storage area protected by CCTV and a high metal fence. The top-class gleaming new amenities building contains veg prep and washing-up areas, a laundry, privacy cubicles and one of the best-equipped 'baby and toddler' rooms we’ve seen.
