Landscaped pitches on a peaceful hillside with views over Loughor Estuary. Ideal for exploring the South Wales coast, Gower Peninsula and the Brecon Beacons. The pitches are spread across three tiers and have electric hook-ups. There are also fully serviced pitches available. The refurbished amenities benefit from individual shower rooms and vanity units. There are also washing up facilities, laundry facilities, a serviced laundry service and a freezer for guests' use. Gas sales are available, along with battery charging and cycle hire. The South Wales coast is just a 5-minute drive.

Llywnifan Farm Caravan Site is a little gem of a park, recently extended and landscaped but still only providing hardstanding 25 pitches. This adults-only park has great views over the Loughor Estuary and towards the Gower peninsula, thanks to its elevated position above the town of Llangennech.

It may be small (or exclusive), but the facilities here are top notch. Lavatories and individual shower rooms are high quality, spacious, heated, and immaculately clean. Check out the custom-monogrammed hand towels as an indicator of the level of attention the owners Cathryn and Hywel Davies put into the park.

If that doesn’t impress you, perhaps the small but well-equipped gym will. Or the cute information kiosk providing useful guides to the local area. How about during peak season a bus service that will take you from the park to local attractions and towns. A visiting ‘world class level 3 holistic therapist’ offers a range of alternative treatments from reflexology to reiki and Hopi ear candles. For a more mainstream kind of activity, the site has an arrangement with a local cycle hire firm which will deliver bikes to site. There’s a fantastic range of cycle trails around here, including through the Millennium Coastal Park through and Sustrans route 4.

Llywnifan Farm is very dog-friendly, with a separate dog walking field (occasionally closed when cattle are present) and with an excellent 45-minute circular river walk nearby. The park is conveniently just over a mile from junction 48 of the M4, making it an excellent base to explore Llanelli, the Gower Peninsula, Pembury, Cefn Sidn Sands, and the Brecon Beacons.
