Trossachs Holiday Park is one of the finest privately owned environmental parks in Scotland where quality and friendly service are guaranteed. Visit Scotland Graded 5 Star. Holders of the prestigious AA Five Pennant Gold Award and The David Bellamy Gold Conservation Award. Bordered to the north by a glorious oak and bluebell wood. The perfect location to enjoy the great outdoors and explore Scotland’s first National Park, an area of outstanding national beauty. The park extends to 40 acres with 45 exclusive fully serviced touring pitches with water, drainage, electricity and TV hook-up.

Deservedly rated five-stars by the Scottish Tourist Board, you’d expect standards to be high at the Trossachs and driving up to the reception area (past some attractive log cabins nestled around a small lake) it’s easy to see that this is a well-manicured site. In total it occupies a 40-acre plot of land, so it has a spacious feel.

There’s plenty of room to park up around reception and the building itself is housed in a large building. It has to be big as it also houses a shop - stocked with beer, wine, camping basics, sweets, crisps and soft drinks.

The pitches on the site are all accessed via wide tarmaced roads and are set in neat terraced rows amidst mature trees. The highest tiers are reserved for static caravans. All 45 touring pitches are on gravelled hardstandings with 16 amp electric hook-ups and the majority of these are fully service pitches with fresh water points, water drainage and TV connection points. The pitches vary in size, from modest plots suitable for only small motorhomes, to ones suitable for tag-axle vehicles or maybe even RVs.

Being south-facing the site makes the most of any sun, while the trees provide welcome shade and protection from the wind. The elevated position of the pitches also give it a good view of the surrounding countryside (you can see Ben Lomond in the distance).

The log-cabin style toilet block is on the second of the two tiers of touring pitches and features a laundrette, TV and games room, as well as toilets and showers of a decent standard.

There’s an outdoor children’s play area on-site, as well as a dog-walking area and various woodland walks to enjoy directly from the site. For more of a challenge, it’s also worth noting that the West Highland Way runs very close to the site and is well worth exploring.
