High Moor Farm Caravan Park

The caravan park hosts a range of accommodation including owner occupied caravan holiday homes, and touring pitches for guests who wish to bring their own tourers and motor caravans.

The campsite has a whole host of facilities. The toilet and shower block is fully heated and includes hot and cold water to showers, bathrooms, wash hand basins and separate disabled room with all facilities. Electrical sockets are available for hair dryers, irons etc. There is a laundry room with deep sinks, ironing board, washing machine and large hot drier, dish washing sinks, babies’ sinks and changing area. Newspapers are delivered on the campsite every morning. There is a telephone box for public use. The campsite shop sells most day-to-day commodities, including a selection of caravan and camping accessories. It also stocks Calor Gas and Camping Gas.

The major attraction at this campsite is the large heated indoor swimming pool where families can have many hours of fun. This adjoins an amusement area, complete with pool tables, etc. There is a licensed bar on the campsite serving drinks and food. All food is freshly prepared on the campsite. Some snacks are available to take away.

There are a wide range of recreational facilities including a nine-hole golf course, bowls and fishing, which are all available subject to a small fee.

The campsite is only four miles from Harrogate, with its excellent shopping centre and open space, garden, theatre, cinemas and spa. There is also the famous Betty's Tea Rooms and plenty of places to eat out. Being on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales means High Moor Farm is ideally placed for visiting all the local attractions and to wander carelessly through the countryside.

Knaresborough, with its old shops and Mother Shipton's Cave and Wishing Well, is 8 miles away. The city of Ripon is 17 miles from the campsite with the historic Cathedral and shopping centre. Lightwater Valley Theme Park is just a few miles from Ripon. Historic York with fascinating museums, cathedral and shops is a pleasant half hour drive away.
