Just a couple of minutes stroll from the town centre, Lochgilphead offers a mix of gravel and grass pitches all serviced by clean and functional facilities. To keep the kids occupied, there’s a grassy play area with chunky wooden apparatus at the centre of the campsite. It sits at the top of a substantial inlet off the main Loch Fyne known as Loch Gilp. The campsite is just a stone’s throw from the Loch and there are expansive views down the loch to Ardrishaig and beyond. The town centre has many pubs, restaurants, cafés and takeaways as well as butchers, grocers and bakers for local produce.
