Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles has launched the new Over Night package, a €2,600 add-on for the all-electric ID. Buzz that transforms it into a flexible micro-camper for two people.

Designed for occasional campers and spontaneous weekend trips, the package includes a bed frame, a custom-fit folding mattress (2.0m x 1.2m), ventilation grilles for the front side windows, a blackout window set, plus a folding table and two chairs for outdoor dining.
Alongside the hardware, Volkswagen has introduced a new "Overnight" software mode, which enables continuous air conditioning for up to 48 hours to maintain a comfortable interior temperature while parked.
The system also reduces unnecessary lighting and other vehicle functions to create a quieter sleeping environment while improving energy efficiency.
The package also makes use of the ID. Buzz's vehicle-to-load (V2L) capability, providing up to 2,000W of 230-volt power through a suitable adapter. This allows owners to run appliances such as cool boxes and coffee machines or recharge e-bikes directly from the vehicle.
Available now for ID. Buzz passenger models across both wheelbases and all seating configurations, the Good-Night package can be removed when not required, allowing the vehicle to return to everyday family duties
