Sun Living: What will we see from this budget campervan brand in 2025
Manufactured in the southeast of Slovenia, Sun Living is celebrating its 15-year history. The brand is considered an affordable alternative to more premium models from its parent company, Adria, which is well-known for its Twin campervan range.
The company say its vehicles are ‘convenient to own, simple to use and enjoy’ while providing a new look to the 2025 range. A darker blue exterior graphic is present on the 2025 season line-up, but it does retain its diagonal motif design. The new design is intended to be suitable for consumers with a standard driving license, once again with the intention of being a convenient introduction to owning a campervan.
The Sun Living range is available at the following UK dealers: Yorkshire Caravans & Motorhomes (Doncaster), Wandahome (South Cave branch, near Hull), Brownhills Motorhomes (Newark), Geoff Cox Leisure (Derbyshire), and Highbridge Caravan Centre (branches in Somerset and Devon).
V Series
All Sun Living campervans are based on the Fiat Ducato. This facelifted base vehicle benefits from a new grille, more aerodynamic door mirrors, and the new eight-speed automatic gearbox. The latest V Series campervans, like the Sun Living motorhomes, get sportier graphics, now in dark grey.
Similarly, added contrast can be found on the inside with new fabrics and black details, such as cupboard catches and taps. Reflecting the move away from gas for greater off-grid independence, the latest campervans also feature a diesel-powered Truma Combi heating appliance, which saves space by combining water and space heating into one unit.
Four models are available in the V Series range, with the addition of a new compact model for 2025. The V 55SP is based on the medium-wheelbase Ducato, so is only 5.41m long – a size not offered in the Twin range from parent company, Adria. It is only available with an automatic gearbox (the larger models can be manual or auto’).
It is also the only model offered as a TentTop version with a rising roof to provide an additional 2.00m by 1.30m double bed. Whether specified with or without the TentTop, the V 55SP has a half-dinette front lounge (fitted with Isofix), plus swivel cab seats and a wall-mounted table.
The side kitchen is adjacent to the offside sliding door and, with its 84-litre compressor fridge facing forwards, it’s easy to reach a cold drink from outside. At the rear, the transverse double bed (1.96m by 1.34m, narrowing to 1.16m on the nearside) is made up of three mattress sections which can be stowed to give a full-height garage space.
The V 55SP TentTop is the same campervan, bar the roof, as the standard V 55SP. It, too, comes with a choice of three upholsteries and either 140hp or 180hp engines, both linked to Fiat’s new eight-speed automatic as standard.
Exterior colours are white, Expedition Grey or metallic black.
The slightly larger V 60SP, based on the six-metre Fiat, has a similar layout to its little brother, but the bigger van gives it a bit more space inside, including a larger double bed across the rear (1.95m by 1.40m).
The campervan portfolio is completed by the V 65SL, built on the extra-long Fiat. This has a similar layout to the V 60SP, except that the extra length benefits the bedroom, where twin beds allow lengthways sleeping. Mounted low, these beds provide easy access and can also be used as settees. If you require an additional berth, a hammock-type bunk can also be added above.
Extra-value Sun Living campervan pack included
To improve comfort, the UK-bound Sun Living campervans also gain the All-Inclusive Pack, featuring cab blinds, an awning, pillows and carpets.
Also included is a Lattoflex bed, an beneficial inclusion due to its six-slat base which can be adapted to the body type and sleep rhythm of the individual. Included elsewhere is an insulated/heated waste tank, 100Ah leisure battery, TV bracket, reversing camera, and Truma Combi D 6 E diesel/electric heatings system.
The optional Fiat Luxury Pack adds an electric parking brake, 10in radio display, colour-coded bumper, front fog lights and 16in alloy wheels.
