Range overview

Eriba’s distinctive touring caravans have been cult favourites for six decades.

The unique caravans offer high levels of quality and comfort as well as their memorable appearance. Now, with the launch of Eriba Car, there is a campervan on a VW chassis that has the same eye-catching appearance as the caravans – and offers various customisation options.

Eriba, part of the Erwin Hymer Group, says the new campervan lives up to the brand’s “Anything but ordinary” slogan and that the result is a vehicle that meets every requirement.

“There are not many caravan manufacturers who not only produce vehicles, but also tell a story in the process,” says Frank Heinrichsen, Head of Overall Marketing for Hymer and Eriba. “From the very beginning, however, Eriba has been surrounded by this unique narrative of freedom, individuality and refreshing coolness.

Without losing any of this, we are now showing with the Eriba Car that the company has not only grown, but also grown up.”

The Eriba Car comes in two layouts – the 600 with transverse double bed and the 602, which has two rear single beds.

The two-tone exterior design is available in Deep Ocean, Cherry Red or Metallic Indium Grey and gives the vehicle a striking, retro look reminiscent ofthe Eriba Touring range.

The interior feels open and spacious thanks to the clear line of sight and open shelving unit above the kitchen.

The inside also features modern, premium materials throughout, as well as cosy seating and sleeping areas and clever details, all designed to help you have the perfect holiday.

The Eriba Car also comes with a wide range of accessories, including a matching camping table and chairs in an integrated bag for the rear storage space and matching boxes in the open overhead locker at the rear.

An app allows you to use a smartphone or the display to easily control the air-conditioning, heating and lighting.

If you’re already acquainted with the Eriba Touring caravan, the appearance and quality of the new Eriba Car 600 campervan will come as no surprise.

As well as looking smart outside, with three colour choices, the VW Crafter-based campervan has a stylish interior, with dark-coloured furnishing, warm felt walls, open shelves with rounded edges and yacht-style flooring.

The Eriba Car 600 sleeps up to three people, with a rear double bed measuring 2.00m by 1.36m and the option of a further single bed in the front lounge.

In front of the bedroom is the side kitchen, which includes a two-burner hob with integrated sink and fold-out work surface.

You’ll also find soft-close drawers, a multifunctional rail on the back wall and a 90-litre pull-out refrigerator.

The washroom is compact but features all of the essentials, such as a folding washbasin, pull-out showerhead, storage and towel hooks.

In the lounge/dining area, the table can be expanded if needed and the tilt adjustment means the seating is adjustable to be even more comfortable.

The Eriba Car 602 offers the same design quality as the 600 campervan but with an alternative layout – featuring a rear lounge that converts into two lengthways single beds.

The beds measure 2.00m and 1.90m by 0.75m and feature the same disc springs as the 600 for added comfort.

Overhead lockers and open shelving provide good storage in the sleeping area and there is good storage space under the beds.

In the kitchen unit there’s a two-burner stove and a sink on one side and a 70-litre fridge opposite, plus a handy pull-out work surface.

The folding basin in the washroom provides you with more space when showering and the shower can also be used externally through the washroom window.

The chic fittings give it the appearance of a boutique hotel bathroom. The campervan is illuminated with a combination of direct and indirect lighting and you can dim the lighting to suit the mood.

Driving the Eriba Car is a pleasure, too, with standard equipment including headlight control system, Air Care Climatronic air-conditioning and adaptive cruise control.
