Elddis launches new entry-level Whirlwind campervan
UK manufacturer Elddis, part of the Erwin Hymer Group, has launched two new campervans for 2026 – the entry-level Whirlwind GTV and more upmarket Autoquest Apex CV.
The Whirlwind is available in three sizes – 5.4m, 6m or 6.4m – with the option of a fixed roof or a pop-top.
Prices for the Peugeot Boxer-based campervans start at £56,000 for the 6m manual, with an impressive spec list included as standard.
It includes alloy wheels, a Thule roll-out awning, a DAB digital multimedia pack and reversing camera, steering wheel controls and a compressor fridge/ freezer. The kitchen unit features a two-burner gas hob and a built-in oven.
Also included in the price are a table extension, USB cable prep for a solar panel, storage for two 11kg gas bottles, a 100-litre water tank and a 90-litre waste tank.
In fact, the only optional extras available are upgrading to an automatic on the bigger models and opting for a pop-top instead of a fixed roof.
The 5.4m is only available as an automatic (£57,000), with the other sizes coming as a manual as standard with a 140hp automatic option at £3,246 on top of the RRP. The 6.4m is £58,000 as standard.
All models come in Metallic Grey with Whirlwind GTV branding and livery. Unusually for a UK campervan, the sliding door is on the right-hand side.
The Whirlwind sleeps three, with a double bed at the back and an additional single bed in the seating area. Choosing the pop-top version will add a further two berths, but prices are not yet available.
New Autoquest Apex model
The rear lounge, Fiat Ducato-based Autoquest Apex CV starts at £73,500 and is available in four layouts – two, three and four-berth, with 140hp automatic as standard.
Standard specification includes alloy wheels, upgraded graphics and upholstery, solar panel, winter pack, an awning, alarm, tracker, WiFi, cab blinds, a dual-fuel hob and microwave and an external socket.
The Apex has a grey exterior as standard, but is also available in black as an option.
The original Elddis Autoquest CV range continues in 2026, with models starting at £62,500 – with the new option of upgrading to an Autoquest EVOLVE spec for an additional £2,750.
This includes an awning, solar panel, winter pack, alarm, tracker, cab blinds, WiFi and an exterior socket.
