Carado unveils "unique" new campervan layout for 2026
German manufacturer Carado has unveiled its 2026 campervan line-up with the launch of the new CV541 PRO – a completely reworked layout inspired by vanlife and self-conversions.
Although built on the same footprint as the existing CV540, the CV541 PRO introduces a unique layout that separates the driving and living areas, creating a more defined interior structure.
Designed with inspiration from self-conversion layouts, the CV541 PRO incorporates a washroom with folding sink, a fixed staircase with built-in storage leading to the sleeping area in the pop-top roof and a raised rear seating area. Additional storage is built in beneath the platform, alongside a tall, slimline wardrobe to maximise usable space.
An optional solar panel module will now be offered on selected 2026 Carado campervans to support off-grid use. However, this feature is not available on models fitted with a pop-top roof.
Who is Carado?
Carado is positioned as an entry-level brand, aimed at buyers seeking practical and affordable campervans and motorhomes. It is part of the Erwin Hymer Group, one of Europe’s largest leisure vehicle manufacturers and a subsidiary of the US-based Thor Industries.
Across the wider 2026 range, Carado is introducing a series of new floorplans and upgraded equipment packages in both campervans and motorhomes. The updated line-up includes compact models for solo or couple travel as well as larger layouts designed for families.
The 2026 updates will be rolled out across Europe in the coming months, with UK availability through authorised Carado dealers. UK prices and spec have not yet been confirmed.
