Xplore CV X9 pop-top
Xplore campervans stand out from the crowd with their striking metallic black exterior finish and teal contour line graphics.
The CV X9 is the third model in the line-up and takes the rear double bed and garage layout and adds a pop-top to become a four-berth.
Xplore is aimed at adventure seekers and its rear bed floorplan is designed to ensure that you’ve got plenty of storage for outdoor gear and bikes.
Capacity can be increased by folding the slatted bed base against the nearside wall and removing the under-bed bulkhead for longer loads, with lashing points fitted to the floor. Access to the raised bed is via a step built into the bulkhead panel.
The Xplore CV X9 has another, larger double bed in the pop-top roof, which is reached by a folding ladder stored on the overcab shelf.
The roof features a panoramic fully opening canvas as well as a large rooflight that ensures the front lounge isn’t dark when the top is down.
The seating area is a conventional half-dinette with craftsman-built cabinetry and contemporary upholstery, with wipe-clean ActivCare fabric. In the kitchen, there’s a three-burner hob with combined oven and grill, a microwave and 87-litre fridge.
Heating comes from Whale’s CompleteHeat 4.7kW gas/electric unit and Xplore’s 25-litre underslung LPG tank creates even more on-board space.
The Fiat Ducato base vehicle has a 140hp engine and manual gearbox as standard, but automatic transmission is also available with either 140hp or 180hp. It also comes with automatic lights and wipers, a Pioneer radio with 9in touchscreen, leather steering wheel and front fog lights.
The dramatic exterior look is enhanced with matt black alloy wheels, dark tinted windows, black low-level body mouldings, black accents around the rear lights, front mudflaps, flared wheelarches front and rear and cab window deflectors.
Key features
- Pop-top roof
- Handcrafted furniture
- Good storage for bulky gear

Xplore CV X8 pop-top
The CV X8’s exterior is striking with distinctive decals and exterior features, including black 16in alloy wheels. The colour-coded wheelarch extensions, mud flaps and front grille enhance that rugged off-road feel.
The contour lines on the exterior are neatly reflected on the inside, too, with matching stitched headrests on the seats. In the kitchen, the Thetford Triplex cooker has three gas burners, an oven and a grill, microwave and an 87-litre fridge. The Xplore washrooms include toilet, basin and combi-shower.
At the back, a second lounge is a welcome addition. This makes two single beds or a large double. The second double bed is in the pop-top roof, which has a larger bed than in the lounge, with a slatted base for extra comfort and ventilation.
Check out the Xplore options, too, which includes the XT Pack, towbar, awning and Back Rack (with optional components).
Key features
- Striking exterior
- Cooker with oven and grill
- Front and rear lounges

Xplore CV X5 fixed roof
Xplore is targeted at the active and sporty demographic and the CV X5 delivers plenty of space for carrying bikes and sports kit.
The CV X5’s sporty credentials are clear from the outset with those contour graphics on a black metallic exterior. It has a fold-aside fixed bed in the rear, set at a height to allow two mountain bikes to be stored on board (with the front wheels removed).
It’s based on the Fiat Ducato, which comes with a whole load of safety systems as standard. The cab seats swivel round to face a half-dinette table with a swing-out extension to allow four people to dine.
The kitchen features a threeburner hob, microwave, oven and grill, with a worktop extension and an 87-litre fridge.
The washroom is a practical and stylish space, with modern black fittings complementing the countertop washbasin. Hot water comes from a plumbing system installed underneath the campervan.
Key features
- Generous garage storage
- Smart external contour graphics
- Stylish washroom
