Eriba campervans: 2026 essential guide
Eriba, which is famous for its distinctive caravans, also manufacturers a high-quality campervan, under the Eriba Car name.
The current range consists of the fixed bed Eriba Car 600 and the rear lounge 602, both of which are based on the VW Crafter.

Eriba Car overview
Known for its iconic caravans, Eriba has dabbled with motorhomes over the years, but the latest generation of Eriba Car campervans were launched last year in the UK. In fact, they impressed the judges so much that the 600 bagged the Best Fixed Bed Campervan in the 2025 Out & About Live Awards.
There are two models, both based on the superb VW Crafter with the 140hp engine. What’s unusual here is the bicolour exterior, which is not an expensive optional extra but included as standard.
Maybe you want the classy Deep Ocean Blue with Candy White, or the bold Cherry Red also combined with the white.
Finally, there’s the sleek Reflex Silver Metallic with Indium Grey. Inside, the distinctive blue furniture has accents of white and wood tones, and can be paired with cream or grey fabrics or part and full-leather options.
The Dayton cognac leather is particularly striking. In the cab you get dual-zone air-con that can be adjusted individually for driver and passenger, great if you can never agree on a comfortable temperature.
Framed windows are double glazed and the insulation ensures no thermal bridges – that’s reducing cold spots to most people. And it is worth noting that these are primarily aimed at couples, being two-berth models as standard.
What also impresses with this range is the standard level of kit. Yes, there are extensive options, which you can use to upgrade your Eriba, but all the essentials are already fitted.
That includes an 80Ah lithium battery and an electric waste water drain button for the underslung grey tank.
One of the options of note is the Park Assist function – one of the most common causes of insurance claims is slow speed manoeuvring bumps – which automatically looks for a parking space that is big enough and does all the steering for you. LED headlights, 17in black alloy wheels, a magnifying washroom mirror, pleated cab blinds and more are all on the options list.
Key features
- On the super VW Crafter
- Bicolour exterior paint is standard
- Modern, distinctive interior look
Eriba Car 600
The most conventional layout in the Eriba Car range features a half-dinette up front, a transverse double bed at the back and kitchen and washroom in between.
The lounge seats four for travel and when dining, with the cab seats swivelled. This area is enhanced by the lack of a big overcab shelf, allowing the cupboards to sweep all the way to the front.
And there’s a surprising amount of worktop space in the kitchen – open shelving above and multifunction rails increase the practicality of this area.
The fridge is located at the end; it’s a pull-out drawer unit that can be accessed from inside or out. The drop-down washbasin is a particularly good use of space in the littlest room.
At the back the double bed, measuring 2m by 1.36m, sits on sprung supports. The three-part mattress allows the central section to be hinged upwards for storage of taller items when on the road.
Key features
- Classic layout done well
- Stands out from the crowd
- VW Crafter is a brilliant drive

Eriba Car 602
While it would have been easy for Eriba to adapt the transverse bed 600 into a twin lounge camper, this rear lounge 602 model has a whole new design, and is a pure couples’ campervan.
There’s the same flip-down table on the outside of the kitchen, but, when you step on board, the front seating area consists purely of the cab seats. Just behind this there is a floor-to-ceiling unit that contains the fridge and a decent-sized wardrobe.
The washroom is the same, but it’s been moved further forwards to create more space in the rear for that aforementioned lounge. And what a lounge...
Twin sofas get armrests and cushions, offering plenty of feet-up relaxing space for two. Windows all round create an airy feel – the one on the offside is a slider, so you can operate the side door with this still open.
Then, at night, these make into single beds, the longest one measuring 2m.
Key features
- Pure two-berth layout
- Lounge sofas convert to singles
- Great wardrobe space
