Enjoy daytime activities & evening entertainment

We offer a wide range of entertainment and activities at our East Midlands Motorhome & Campervan Show. While our evening entertainment (available only to campers) features top-quality acts with excellent sound and lighting, there's much more to experience throughout the event.

Visitors can explore our busy advice centre, take advantage of free manoeuvring courses, and enjoy organised trips like our coach tour to Nottingham or the Newark Town Centre shuttle bus.

Advice Centre

The freedom that comes with owning a van is wonderful, and whilst we all love to explore, sometimes we just need a little push in the right direction. Take advantage of free talks from our highly knowledgeable guest speakers covering topics such as buying, travelling overseas, maintenance, earning money whilst you’re on the road and many more. All talks are free and you don't need to book seats in advance.

A live Manoeuvring Course at the South West Show

Manoeuvring

Whether your confidence is a little rusty or you’ve actually never driven a motorhome, now is the time to take advantage of our free 20 minute taster courses in conjunction with Out&AboutLive. Run by qualified instructor, Nigel Davies, with vehicles kindly provided by Swift Go, there’s no need to book in advance, just head to the Information Office when you arrive. Over 25s only, Driving licence required.

Bingo

Bingo (Food Court)

Join us for some good old fashioned fun and try your luck at Bingo on Friday. You can find us in the food court at 2:30pm. No need to book just turn up and grab a seat. You will play 6 games with a chance to win one of 6 cash prizes, all for FREE!

Nottingham castle

Coach Trip to Nottingham

Friday | 10am - 3pm

Nottingham has something for everyone – from the historic Nottingham Castle and its scenic views to the UK’s largest network of caves beneath the city streets. Visit Ye Olde Trip to Jerusalem, Britain’s oldest inn, or explore the city’s mix of unique boutiques, high-street shops, and cosy cafes.

Tickets are £26.63 per person (Including booking fee) return and can be added when booking your pitch (subject to availability). The coach departs the showground at 10am and leaves Nottingham at 3pm.

Newark

Shuttle Bus to Newark

Saturday | 9am - 5pm

Take advantage of our convenient Saturday shuttle to Newark town centre! Explore historic sites like Newark Castle, enjoy a riverside walk along the Trent, and browse boutique shops and cafes at your leisure.

The shuttle runs from 9am, with the last return at 5pm. Tickets are £5 per adult and £2.50 per child, available at the information office (card payments only). Enjoy a taste of Newark and make your show experience even better!

Caravan Radio

Caravan Radio will be broadcasting live from the show all day, bringing you a fantastic mix of music, from classic hits to modern favorites, along with show updates and exciting interviews. Don’t miss the chance to stop by their stand, chat with the DJs, and even get your voice heard on the station! You can tune in to Caravan Radio on Alexa or stream online via their website and app.

Evening Entertainment

Evening entertainment is indoors and is only open to those camping on-site for the weekend. It is on a first come, first served basis. All show times will be published in your showguide given to you upon arrival.
