Full Review
THE Nuevo is great to drive as it’s narrow and very short. I initially pitched up at the local supermarket to stock up on treats for my weekend at the National Motorhome Show at Peterborough; the motorhome fits in a supermarket car park easily and the rear kitchen window allows for manoeuvring against walls.
The exterior look is both stylish and understated and take note of the hatches for gas locker, I’d also prefer a door stopper on the exterior wall to allow the door to sit flush against the wall when open. The current metal stay only allows the door to open two thirds of the way and doesn't feel like it would be up to the job in strong winds.
Considering the exterior dimensions, the interior is quite spacious, thanks in part to the large overcab window. The interior is a bit traditional for me but it does have part LED lights to conserve battery life.
The big front lounge is this motorhome's key interior feature with more than enough room for the two occupants to relax and you could even invite six friends in to share a drink on the two long sofas and swivelled cab seats. there even a useful small pedestal table for between the cab seats if you want somewhere to put your wine and nibbles without having to get the larger free-standing one out of the wardrobe.
There’s plenty of kitchen storage – but I’d need a step for the two high-up lockers. The wardrobe is a good size and the overhead lockers in the lounge are ample. The only thing is that bedding will have to go under either of the seats. The drivers side one is half taken up with the gas locker and the other one would need a divider in to split up the bedding and the wet stuff that you’d want to use this locker for as it’s got an exterior acess door.
One thing to note – one of the alarms – carbon monoxide – is fixed high-up on the wardrobe wall so that it is knocked when you open the nearest locker – I’d move it elsewhere at it is only hooked onto two screws fixed into the wall.
It’s a great classic layout and perfect suited to those who don’t have a lot of space at home or like to travel down country lanes to undiscovered places.

Our Verdict
The Nuevo measures in at well under 6m in length, and this is one of the key reasons to buy, fitting in a standard car parking space with relative ease - the view through the back window can aid parking too. inside you get a spacious interior that works well (it has been around for decades) and high equipment levels, but it’s not a cheap ’van. there’s just a few niggles that could be easily sorted.
Advantages
Compact and easy to drive
Spacious interior for size
Great storage especially in kitchen and exterior lockers
Disadvantages
Flimsy habitation door stay
Corbon monoxide alarm needs repositioning
