Adria Vision I677 SP

Full Review
LAST year Adria launched their first ever A-class, which went straight to the top of the class and won our inaugural Which Motorcaravan Motorhome of the Year.
Now there’s a sister model in the Vision range, the new 677 SP, with the same bold and distinctive styling and the same class-leading Renault chassis. You won’t mistake this A-class for any rival, but the new shorter (6.95m v 7.20m) model adopts a lengthways fixed bed layout in place of the garage floorplan which was the only choice at inception.
Shown in right-hand drive form, the new Vision still boasts good external storage in the under-bed area - with a removable split-level floor for added versatility. There’s a cab door on the nearside, ’clap-hands’ windscreen wipers that suit LHD or RHD, and cab blinds.
Inside, the Aguti captain’s chairs in the cab turn to face a half-dinette and an inward-facing sofa with a curvy L-shaped backrest for real lounging comfort. The blue suede-effect fabric and net curtains complete an interior that looks clean and modern.
And such modernity continues with a flatscreen TV stored above the forward-facing travel seats and a 1.98m by 1.50m A-class bed that lowers into the cab at the touch of a button. Having recently spent a week heaving a weighty A-class bed back into the ceiling every morning, I can assure you that this feature is no mere gimmick.
The Vision’s L-shaped kitchen includes a glass-lidded Cramer three-burner hob (with ignition) and a matching sink. There’s plenty of high and low-level storage, especially in the three large drawers. A touch of style is added by the frosted and partially glazed upper cupboard doors and the marble-style worktops.
A waste bin recessed into the kitchen top shows that practicality has been considered too and, opposite, the Techno-Tower (150-litre fridge/freezer with oven above) is the latest in motorhome appliances.
A well-lit washroom alongside the fixed bed features a really generous separate shower, marred only by its single tiny drain hole. Towel hooks and rail are fitted, along with a silver washbasin and swivel cassette loo.
A Truma Combi EH means that the Adria has standard mains power for the boiler and space heating, unlike much of the imported opposition. Add the £995 SE Pack and you also get flame-retardant removable carpets, a Blaupunkt Lucca sat nav, five-year unlimited mileage warranty and - gasp! - an Adria umbrella.
