Full Review

Three years after its launch, the time has come for a facelift for the Harmony Line.

As a result, the German manufacturer has given this excellent coachbuilt a range of enhancements including

  • new hybrid rear road lights
  • new interior lighting
  • a redesigned galley with clever rotating worktop extension
  • a new oven (some models)
  • bedrooms with Vario blinds
  • and details such as magnetic drinking glasses with their own storage shelf near the entrance.

Rear braking lights on the Lyseo Harmony Line

Continuing the focus on the rear of the 744, the revamped exterior design also includes new rear light holders and a large rear spoiler with integrated braking lights.

The interior also benefits from some changes with new upholstery and stitching and a newly developed entrance element.

Storage capacity has been enhanced with a TV compartment.

There's also a new panoramic skylight above the cab.

Another novelty is Bürstner’s portable ‘Home Light’ with a built-in charging station and battery life of up to eight hours.

This complements the exisiting internal lighting and is also highly practical, as it can be used as a portable light - handy if you need to pop outside during the night. It comes as standard on the 744 - and the 745 - and is available as an option in the other layouts.

To all this, the TD 744 model adds a layout that’s particularly in tune with UK tastes.

Its star feature is the rear lounge but there’s also a second seating area (with seatbelts) up front, as well as the possibility of electric drop-down beds over both the forward and rear lounge areas.

As one would expect from a special range such as the Harmony Line, the manufacturer has specified it particularly well, so in addition to the already hgih level of standard equipment in the habitation area – such as the inclusion of both the Kitchen Package and the Lighting Package – buyers also get extras in the cab and for the driver, including

  • The Fiat chassis package and
  • The Fiat interior package

Our Verdict

When the Bürstner Lyseo TD Harmony Line was launched here three years ago, it was seen as a unique combination of mid-range pricing and a low-profile motorhome with highlights such as a full technical double floor. For 2020, Bürstner has enhanced this winning combination further
