Swift Coastline Esprit Q6 EW

The special-edition Swift Coastline models are Somerset retailer Highbridge Caravan Centre’s best-selling new caravans and are now in their 11th year. These caravans are based on the Swift Group’s Sprite range, with additional equipment and exclusive fabrics.

Highbridge Caravan Centre introduced a new range of Coastline caravans for 2015, called Coastline Esprits, and this range continues into 2016. They are based on the Sprite range. The exclusive fabric scheme for 2016 is a rich, opulent look created by gold-sheen curtains with a bold, brown flower design. The dark brown seating fabric has plain, modern appeal as well as immense practicality.

There are five models in the range. Two are specifically made for families and three are designed to appeal to couples, all four-berths with double beds.

The six-berth M6 TD has a rear family area that’s a play and dining room by day and a bedroom for four by night, with permanent bunk beds and two more bunks to be created in the seating area.

The twin-axle Q6 EW is also a six-berth, with an L-shaped lounge, an offside dining area, a double bed and a full-width end-washroom.

The compact A4 has a double bed and a washroom alongside it, in the offside corner.

The longer, more spacious fixed-bed M4 FB has a shower room across the whole width of the caravan.

The island-bed M4 SB model’s double bed retracts, during the day, to create more corridor space to the full-width rear shower room.
 

Extra equipment

Coastline Esprits’ extra specification includes a wide sunroof, an exterior mains socket, a barbecue point, an extractor fan, an external locker access door, an illuminated shower room mirror, an alarm system with a key fob that also activates the awning light, and a 100-watt solar panel.

The twin-axle Q6 EW, pictured here, also has the addition of heavy-duty corner steadies and an extra mains socket.

All models in the range have microwaves, hitch-head stabilisers, alloy wheels, AL-KO Secure wheel lock receivers, door flyscreens and radio-CD players.
 

Our review example of the Swift Coastline Esprit range, the Q6 EW, costs £19,295 including the usual retailer delivery fee of £545. That’s £1695 more than the Quattro EW on which it’s based, at £17,600, also including delivery.
The extra equipment amounts in value to £3000, so with this model you get £1305-worth of extras free of charge. Brilliant value and a caravan with awesome fabrics!
