Full Review

ONE of the things that any newcomer to caravanning can appreciate is a lightweight caravan.

They’re much easier to tow as well as to manoeuvre. That’s where Lunar invariably scores; this company has a knack of producing ‘vans which are generally significantly lighter than their rivals.
caravan interior - lunar zenith eb
What’s significant about the Zenith EB in this company is that it’s the only fixed-bed caravan - which means it doesn’t offer the most efficient use of space, but it does save having to transform the eating area into a sleeping space every night, and back again the next morning. The EB is a new addition to the Zenith range for 2007, with the whole line-up receiving an external refresh that brings it right up to date. However, while most rivals are now as wide as the law will allow (7ft 6in), the Zenith is still a comparatively narrow 7ft 1in.

What matters is that the layout works brilliantly, the caravan is very well put together and equipment levels aren’t penny-pinching. Less impressive is the washroom, which should have been laid out more effectively and the fridge, which ought to be bigger. If you can live with such drawbacks, the Lunar could be the caravan for you.
