Coachman launched this fixed-bed layout in the Pastiche range in the summer of ’09 and it immediately started to grab attention. Now you have the choice of the same layout in the lower-priced, lower specification Amara range. And of course, apart from being £1450 cheaper, the Amara gives you very different styling from the Pastiche. This new model was launched at the NEC show in October, which is where we took our first detailed look – and then caught up with the model again at Kimberley Caravans, where we took the exterior photograph above.
The Amara may be Coachman’s lowest price range but the 560’s appeal isn’t just about price. It’’s about its fresh, bright, light styling. Add that factor to the Coachman craftsmanship appeal that runs throughout all ranges and you begin to see why we’re so enthusiastic about this newcomer.

| This new Amara competes in an arena packed with single-axle fixed bed caravans of all sorts and styles and prices. It sits in the middle, price-wise – but in terms of style-appeal it sits way ahead of most. Major and minor features combine to create an ambiance that’s modern and bright at the same time as being of classic Coachman quality. Perfect? In its layout category it must come pretty close. |
