Full Review

ABBEY is part of the Swift Group, which also comprises Ace, Bessacarr, Sprite, Sterling and Swift.

We’ve opted for the 520 from Abbey’s entry-level range; look at what some of the other Swift brands offer and you’ll see they’re remarkably similar. You can’t really go wrong with a Swift caravan; they’re not especially imaginative in their design, layout or colours, but they’re decent value with plenty of kit, and very easy to live with.
caravan interior - Abbey Vogue 520
The 520 features an end washroom, so there’s plenty of room for ablutions, while space is freed up for the quartet of berths on offer. In the nose is a dining area/lounge, which leaves the middle of the caravan to house the galley and second dining area. In recent years the amount of standard equipment on these relatively small caravans has mushroomed, to the point where you can now take for granted a large fridge/freezer (in this case a 107-litre unit) along with an oven and hob, space and blown-air heating plus halogen interior lighting.

In fact, there’s so much equipment and space for less than 12 grand, that it’s getting increasingly difficult arguing a case for the near-£20,000 caravans which are still on the market.
