Timberland Endeavour XII
- BASE VEHICLE: Renault Master 2.5dCi 120 long-wheelbase
- STARTING PRICE: £37,895 on-the-road
- AS TESTED: £44,230 on-the-road
- PLUS POINTS: One of the best motorhome base vehicles in the business, torquey and powerful engine, successfully executed and rare stacked rear bunks, general feeling of luxury, high levels of equipment, well-equipped kitchen, cab air-conditioning, electric windows and door mirrors, four proper travel seats, superb optional electric awning, welcome ’boot’ space, six-speed gearbox
- MINUS POINTS: Van feels very narrow and confined towards the rear, bench-style toilet, no window in the washroom, cheesy-looking optional fake ’wood’ dashboard trim, tyre foam in lieu of a standard spare wheel is likely to polarise customer opinion, rear bunks impair rearward through-vision, price - especially with options, rattly cooker when on the move, small fresh and waste water tanks
