Wells Touring Park: In Splendid Somerset

7c33fd04-2f2f-4d14-b2a5-0f6dcbb8dcbe

Just 10 minutes’ drive from England’s smallest city and set amid the beautiful countryside for which Somerset is renowned, Wells Touring Park has an immaculately-kept lodge development with views of the Mendip Hills.

The park’s location, close to historic, picturesque Wells, with all the supermarket and practicality needs you could wish for, is a superb place to buy a holiday lodge.

The entire park is beautifully manicured, with lawns, shrubs and hedges. The touring section is restricted to adults only, so the whole park is very peaceful.

This park has a delightful café; cakes are a speciality here – it’s a great place to meet for morning coffee and afternoon tea.

There are other attractions, too; very unusual ones. Outdoor, giant Jenga, draughts and a petanque court provide a great place to meet up with friends you’ll easily make on the park.

The holiday lodges are in an elevated position, with stunning views, all of them on large plots and with generously-sized decking and balustrades constructed of natural wood. Each lodge has parking space.

Wells’ lodges are made specially for the park. The latest Studio lodges here have an open-plan layout. The dining and kitchen area has a vaulted tongue-and-groove ceiling.  In the kitchen, which features a breakfast bar, laminate flooring creates a modern, stylish feel. Integrated appliances include a dishwasher, washing-dryer machine and microwave. The oak dining table and chairs are positioned by the full-drop windows, optimising the views.

These custom-built lodges are superb, well-designed holiday homes packed with appealing features.
