Rozel Court

ROZEL Court is a well-established, fully residential family-run park for the retired and semi-retired, currently under re-development, making it the ideal opportunity to select the plot and park home of your choice. The park is situated in Beck Row, a small village approximately three miles from the historic town of Mildenhall, where you can find two doctors’ surgeries, a dentist, supermarket, butchers, bakers, library, banks, and much more. A bus service passes by the entrance of the park and runs into Mildenhall.

All park homes are finished with brick skirt and steps, plus landscaped garden, a shed, and space for one or two cars. Garages are available to some plots.

Mildenhall centres on a market place with a 16th century hexagonal market cross and town pump. The town’s market, which is held here on every Friday, originated as a weekly chartered market in, it is believed, the 15th century. In the centre of the town, the Mildenhall Museum contains displays of local history and wildlife, the history of the nearby RAF base, and information on the Mildenhall Treasure. Gordon Butcher, the finder of the treasure, was hailed as the greatest farmer in Suffolk.

Within a short drive of Rozel Court is the beautiful city of Ely, Bury St Edmunds and Newmarket. Ely is not only full of charm and beauty, but it is also home to one of the most magnificent cathedrals in England. This imposing structure towers across the fens for miles around. Known locally as the ‘Ship of the Fens’, it is famous for its unique Octagon tower, which when lit can be seen for many miles. The Cathedral is also home to the only national museum dedicated to stained glass. If it is history you are interested in, then Ely Museum, housed in the city’s old gaol, is an excellent place to start.

Bury St Edmunds is an historic market town, surrounded by spendid countryside which is full of history. Within this lovely medieval market town you will find a warm and friendly atmosphere at any time of the year.
