Residential Park Review: Organford Manor Country Park

5377ca20-dad0-4757-8f07-76fe59be2edd

Close to one of southern England's most beautiful coastlines lies a prestigious park home estate in a forest setting.

Set amid private farmland in beautiful Dorset, Organford Manor is a prestige private gated development of new residential park homes situated within elegantly landscaped plots.

Poole harbour is only four miles away; the second largest natural harbour in the world, with eight islands, the largest of which is Brownsea.

We've sailed around these islands from Poole and have spent many a happy day exploring Brownsea… And then strolled along Poole's promenade and on to the beach… And eaten lovely meals in several of Poole's restaurants.

This region is rich in places to return to time and time again, anytime you fancy a whole day, or just a few hours, away from your new home. The traditional resort of Swanage, with its beautiful beach and steam railway, and, inland, the whole of the New Forest stretches out to explore. Little wonder this region of Dorset is a sought-after location in which to live.

Take Sandbanks for example, just six miles away.

The beach of Sandbanks is a stretch of sheltered golden sand facing Poole harbour. It's ranked among the best beaches in the south of England, and the small peninsula of Sandbanks is rated as an exclusive place to live, having some of the highest-value homes in Britain.

Homes at Organford Manor

Organford Manor's exclusive charm reflects its wonderful location. The standard bar is set high. All homes have private driveways and gardens landscaped and designed in the interests of low maintenance; your outside space that you can just enjoy.

This estate is exclusively for people aged over 45, although children can come and stay! And pets are welcome with a designated dog walking field just for residents!

Homes are built to the BS:3632 residential British Standard. They are designed for a minimum of 70 years' lifespan and of course are fully insulated, double-glazed and centrally heated.

Organford Manor is family-owned; the Simmons family, who have been in the park home industry since 1959, also own parks in Essex and Hertfordshire. They pride themselves on a high standard and on looking after their customers.

A new development is taking place at Organford Manor; it's the second phase and, now, a variety of show homes are available for immediate occupation or you can choose a vacant plot and order the home of your choice from the Omar and Wessex ranges.

Although the development is part of the existing park, it is situated up a private drive, providing 360-degree countryside views.

These new homes will have block-paved driveways for two cars, and a garden shed. They will also have brick skirting and steps. You can choose to have a large patio instead of grass, or a combination of both; something to suit everyone.

Organford Manor exterior

Vaulted, panelled ceilings enhance the feeling of spaciousness. Feature wallpaper, natural oak engineered wood flooring and distressed white and driftwood furniture create a stunning environment. Large comfortable sofas and footstools provide ample space to relax and a feature coal effect fire with the angled flue on a black granite hearth makes a real design statement.

The impressive kitchen is exceptionally well-equipped and includes a Belfast sink, Silestone worktop, plenty of storage space and Smeg appliances including a stainless steel range cooker, microwave, dishwasher and American fridge-freezer. There's a separate utility room with a second Belfast sink and Smeg washing machine and tumble dryer.

Luxury continues into the bedrooms. Beautiful hand-painted furniture in the master bedroom includes a king-sized bed, bedside tables, writing table and rattan high back chair.

Fitted wardrobes with feature Lancaster oak and stone grey panelled, sliding doors to both bedrooms provide plenty of hanging space. The colour scheme of warm greys highlighted by striking magenta adds personality.

The fully tiled en suite is reminiscent of a luxury hotel suite and includes a walk-in shower with an oversized soaker. Also, fully tiled, the luxurious family bathroom has an over-bath shower.
