Park Home Review: Prestige Homeseeker Accolade

A new home from Prestige Homeseeker, providing affordable residential park home living

With a Juliet balcony there’s an instant touch of elegance about the Accolade. Interestingly, this unusual style feature is on one end of the home; perfect for a plot with a view! The exterior colours of white and pale grey are outstandingly modern and the high-pitched roof, together with the dorma roofline above the main door, emphasises the size of this home.

Balcony and lounge

Prestige Homeseeker Acolade - Lounge

Lighting, on each side of the balcony, makes this a lovely place for a glass of wine as the sun sets; the balcony leads straight out from the lounge. L-shaped seating defines this open-plan lounge. A side window, as well as the large balcony windows, ensures it’s nice and bright with a feeling of space. The soft beige upholstery, with loads of cushions in cream and white, against a backdrop of white walls and cream carpet, is cooly modern at the same time as being gorgeously cosy.

The television and media unit plus a nest of tables in the lounge take care of practicalities.

The vaulted ceiling is complete with spotlights in the lounge, dining and kitchen areas ensuring the Accolade is light and airy everywhere.

Dining area

The Accolade manages to be both open-plan (so that you get the feeling of space) and segmented. That’s because the position of the dining area slightly overlaps into the lounge and because the kitchen units form a partial barrier to the lounge. It’s a very appealing layout.

Kitchen

The kitchen is U-shaped, with the hob, oven and grill in its own sector and the sink facing the window.

Copious quantities of upper and lower cabinets provide great storage facilities – so important in any home! They’re plain, palest cream with simple brushed steel handles; like the lounge, the look here is ultra modern and will appeal to most buyers’ tastes.

The high-gloss kitchen works perfectly with the beautiful solid oak dining table and chairs of a slightly traditional style.

Bedrooms

Prestige Homeseeker Acolade Bedroom

The master bedroom has fitted wardrobes with sliding, mirrored doors that mean light bounces around the room and shows off the fabulous amount of space here.

In both double rooms the soft colour palette of fawns and creams is delightful and restful. We love the use of plaid-inspired design for the bedcover cushions and curtains in the second bedroom – so on-trend!

Bathrooms

An over-bath shower is a feature of the main bathroom, together with fawn gloss tiles, a sink vanity unit, a mirrored cabinet and tall heated towel rail.

Dictionaries define the word ‘accolade’ as an acknowledgement of merit. In the case of the park home of that name, it’s a case of how much merit… We think the Accolade is of outstanding merit, well worthy of its name. Judge for yourself; the photographs tell all.
